SABRINA ARASIMOWICZ
Sabrina is a PhD student in nutrition at the University of Montreal under the supervision of Malek Batal. She is participating in the “Evaluating and bringing to scale alternative food networks to address diabetes mellitus and hypertension” project based in Ecuador. She completed her B.Sc. in Dietetics at McGill and has been working as a registered dietitian since her graduation. She also holds a M.Sc. degree in Nutrition from the University of Montreal, during which she researched the factors impacting the dietary diversity of women of reproductive age in Haiti. Sabrina has a particular interest in sustainable food systems and dietary patterns that will protect the health of humans, animals and the planet. During her spare time, she enjoys baking, making plant-based meals and going to the gym but has a particular interest in outdoor activities, particularly hiking, discovering waterfalls and watching the stars.
