After a bachelor's degree in human nutrition at the University of Tunis El Manar in Tunisia, Ines continued her graduate studies with a master's degree in nutrition at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Malek Batal. During her master's degree, she worked on "Food security and household dietary diversity in Haiti".
Currently, she is a PhD candidate in nutrition and still part of Dr. Malek Batal's research team with CIENS research group. For her PhD, Ines is working on a study looking at « Food quality and nutritional status of First Nations children and youth living on reserve in Canada ».
Research area and interests:
She loves trying new things every time: piano, figure skating, knitting, swing, swimming, climbing, etc.
