Alessia Gadoua, Registered Dietitian (RD) with the ODNQ for over two years is currently completing her Master of Science in Public Health with a specialty in Health Promotion at the University of Montreal. Alessia passionately believes that food security and food justice are key determinants of health and healthy eating.
This is what led her to completing her Master's stage on the Ekomer-Redes and FEHNCY projects at CIENS in 2023. Leading up to her stage, Alessia has gained experience in community and public health nutrition at the local and national levels.
Since Alessia has joined the team as research coordinator in 2024, she has been spending most of her time coordinating the Utz K'aslemal project in Guatemala. Beyond her work and studies, you can find Alessia either cooking up a delicious meal, dancing or cycling around Montreal.
