I am a fourth-year bachelor’s student in nutrition at the Université de Montréal. As part of my second and final internship in public health, carried out with the CIENS team, I am contributing to the development of the Santé à bord project, a mobile clinic designed to reach populations living in remote regions. The objective of the internship is to participate in the creation of educational and culinary workshops.
I became particularly interested in this internship after taking a course during my bachelor’s program. In that course, I completed a literature review project on the relationship between nutrition and tuberculosis among Indigenous populations, which strengthened my interest in the various health determinants that influence population health. |
