I am an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and a productivity research fellow of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). My research interests include Public Policy Evaluation, Economics of Education, and Health Economics. At CIENS, I am developing a project that studies the impacts of economic opening on nutritional patterns in Brazil.
I coordinate the Laboratory of Economics and Public Policy Evaluation (LEAP), where we conduct academic research and consulting projects in collaboration with government agencies. Additionally, I participate in interdisciplinary research groups and institutional networks in the areas of health (NIENS) and education (RecuperaBR). From 2021 to 2025, I served as the Head of the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE) at UFPB.
