CLARISSE IMARAZENE
Clarisse is a third year engineering french student taking food science and nutrition courses. She is undergoing an internship at the Canada Research Chair in Nutrition and Health Inequalities (CIENS) to work on the subject of additives in food and their effect on health. The final goal is to contribute content to inform Équiterre's Shop Smarter Eat Better awareness campaign, which aims to promote the consumption of affordable, healthy and sustainable food. Through this project, Clarisse hopes to provide information that will help consumers understand additives’ roles and impacts.
Later, Clarisse aims to work in a food company to innovate by inventing new products that can support a healthy nutrition even on the go, when cooking at home is impossible. In her spare time, Clarisse is passionate about photography and sports, especially lifting and running, which she considers as pillars to feel good physically and mentally. |
